I can live without them.Īlso on Mac hand history files don't have an extension (which, again, isn't a problem for PT). Still, I play mainly cash games so I don't really care about those tournament files. As far as I remember it's java, so same on both platforms? If so, I guess PT would have no issues reading these hands on PC too.

There's a known issue with date formatting in tournament hands and PCP simply refuses to read tournament hand histories from Party Poker (though I suspect Party might have fixed that a long time ago), however PokerTracker Mac trial did not even flinch and read ALL the files without a problem. Date formatting also seems to be a little different. Handling break lines is different on Mac in txt files and upon transferring to PC these break lines might become unreadable to some applications - perhaps including HM2Ģ. As far as my research into this topic has gone, I have found 2 possible issues, however I doubt any of them are likely to be at fault and if they are I really have no idea what can I do to effectively repair those files (as in: batch repair). I have ORIGINAL hand histories from Mac (Party Poker if that's relevant) that I want to upload into HM2 and it doesn't work. There's a little trick you can use to help you find those folders in Finder: You can right-click (or ctrl-click) on any folder and select Show in Finder.īut given that I should probably rephrase my query. To find out where those folders are, in Poker Copilot, go to Preferences -> General, where you'll see a list of hand history folders. Ideally, you'll find them in the original folders.

If PCP doesn't have an archive folder as per above then I think you need to request the original hands & tournament summaries from the poker sites you use Email & ask them if PCP has an archive folder that preserves the original format of the hands & link to this thread in the email - they will tell you if I'm wrong about anything I've written here HM2 requires the hands to be in the original format supplied by the poker site & not the format that PCP converts it to I've looked at the installation pages for PCP & they don't mention that PCP moves read poker hands to an archive that preserves the original format of the hands!
